We Won! PS208K Won!

PS 208K was the winner of Councilmember Jumaane Williams' Participatory Budgeting Competition held in 2018. Our winning projects this year were an I.E.P. Sensory Lab, and a computer Lab upgrade. The total dollar amount was $350,000. One of the key highlights of this year's vote, was the fact that the voting age was reduced to 11 years.  So many of our grade 5 students were able to vote, and were able to present an incredible legacy gift to the future students of P.S.208K.  Thank You Grade 5 students.  You were incredible!≥…

P.S. 208 conducts its second annual Peace March to raise funds for students in need of desks in Malawi.  Students met in the auditorium, where staff members discussed the significance of the occasion, and the procedures for this year's march.  Students marched in the neighborhood, and concluded with the singing of Bob Marley's song, "Three Little Birds."
